    I’m not one to start a thread when it still feels like Sunday to me, but for me it’s kind of a strange, eerie, and beautiful moment right now. I left you guys last as I was drinking a Pliny and waiting for my date at the bar. Well, the date went amazing! We got along all night, and she loves beer! She drank a Hazy and an Oktoberfest at the craft bar, then when we hit a dive she asked for an IPA and had a Lagunitas! Awesome!

    Anyway, I’m sitting back in my 125 year old house that has completely been modernized. Fall has kind of finally hit SoCal. It was the first night of the season where I actually thought about needing a jacket. Right now the Santa Ana winds are picking up, and certain noises in my house are banging and clanging (I’ve only been here since July, so this is all new to me). Anyway, I have a date with her tomorrow!

    As of right now, I couldn’t think of drinking a better beer. Thanks to my good friend Ferd for hooking it up! Cheers!

    ADVENT calendar?? OMG. I know, I know, it has been out since late September.
    Just got rattled there for a second when ADVENT is referred to in October!

    To me it's just a case of mixed beers, no matter when it comes out. I drink it when it fits into my beer schedule.

    I left Texas at 75F. I returned to 21F last night. 3" of snow on the ground. To quote a recent news story about baseball... "Bbbboooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!"

    I have to find a new background for my beer pics...so far my lazy arse has settled for the backyard, mainly because I’ve got a seat and because the patio has a ceiling fan:
