Yeah, it was. It looked like something tore, or broke, a hole in the box. That box was very well packed, I could tell with the rest of it. Something external did the carnage.

 

considering all the glass in there and that it survived it had to have been well packed just some catastrophic event lol

Two identical boxes going out tomorrow to @Franfab AKA target 2, (box 1 was a start) and a second to a random victim who's state has an NFL team. I know that doesn't narrow it down too much.

 

Damn @CanConPhilly, you hit him almost as badly as USPS must have handled that box.

Some of these heavy boxes must get really rough treatment. I put the glass to Gene in a thick styro bottle shipper with bubble wrap to keep it snug, still didn't stop it from getting broken.

This did not age well.

The winner of the FIL is @bstoos , who used his big brain to select UCF and their 63 points. Honorable mention to @strohme2 who just lost out with Clemson and their 59 points.

Dishonorable mention and a big fat EAT IT to the two guys who decided to troll me, you did awful. As he notes above, @JFreres selected Louisiana, who did not play last weekend. I award you zero points. Second worst, and the only person to take a team that scored less than 20 points, was @Franfab who selected Notre Dame and watched them need a bullshit pass interference call and a garbage time touchdown to get to 14 points.

Mystery brew from @AyatollahGold

clear, golden straw, thin off white head.

aroma is tart, citrus, maybe wine grape, something tropical.
Tart, but not too tart. Light sweetness, citrus and maybe peach. Something I can’t place.
Light, crisp, but not a pushover.

definitely an interesting flavor mix that I can’t figure completely out.

 

I’d say you’ve done good!
That is really the main reason I sent it blind, I wanted to know if a key fruit in it would be able to be detected without knowing it’s there!
I think it will make sense to you once revealed and you can piece together what you got!

Porch got dominated by @larryi86 today!! First the cans and a couple bottles:

This will actually be my first exposure to Tired Hands(I know right...who am I??!!) Super excited as there is a wide variety of there stuff here. The raisin brew from DogFish is also calling my name...these green caps always put me on my ass though. The oak aged saison sounds pretty tasty!!

Next was a second package of three large bottles:

2SP is also a new brewery to me, and this massive stout bottle looks delicious! The Maple Jesus is an awesome hit! Have wanted one of there larger format BA bottles for a long time!!

Now I have two mystery bottles that are 12+%abv....thanks @larryi86 and @Franfab for that....

I do plan to get to the mystery brews on Friday since I rarely drink durring week(busy burning off the weekend prior) I have warned the wife I may be in rough shape.....hahaha

Absolute killer package!!
