Awesome! I visited the brewery in July and really enjoyed their beers

 

I think this is just a quick hot drop. I don’t think a permanent supply is on the horizon, so I would temper expectations

 

This is basically what I overheard from a Binny’s employee yesterday.

 

Yeah this is just a one time drop, which means drops like this could happen again but don't expect regular distro.

Expect to see this kind of thing form more breweries, this is becoming a popular method for distro.

 

Triple Nelson Daydream is phenomenal.

 

Chris Quinn said it affected sales of local haze the week Equilibrium came in with their hot drop. That was an interesting thought which makes perfect sense. Maybe they’ll come back again when they go to Mikerphone in May

 

For whatever it is worth, it sounds like all of these beers are coming from the Roc facility, which if you ask the OH thread, they aren't too keen on.

I'm still hitting up Beer Temple Friday and Lincoln Park Saturday morning though *shrug shoulders emoji*

This is very interesting to me, I'm used to seeing drops like this when the brewery is going to be in town for a fest (ala GABF) but going through the red tape just to reach another market for a one time drop? It's like the new pop up marketing I suppose.

 

I like it, and wish it would happen more often. There's so much good local stuff around that I don't necessarily care if they distro here all the time, but I would definitely like to try more beer from places that don't generally make it to Chicago, even if it's a one-off drop.
