Once long long ago I got arrested in this state, it’s also famous for its ethnic foods.

How much beer can one stuff into a 16 cube box? Well right at 300, but I ran out of box and had to add a second with beer and swag.

Haul Hint: Box #1 is packed up and ready to go. 132 ounces of liquid gold, representing two areas of my home state about 5 hours away via I-95. My target lies about 50 hours of straight driving away from the furthest brewery in this box.

This box includes a mystery beer, some local food, and minor brewerania. Box #2 will include more beer (including from the rest of the Southeast), more food, glassware, and personal touches.

    Final clue .....

I’m shipping a box of beer only tomorrow to my target, then a follow up box next week (after a trip to Chicago) with more beer and swag.

My box was put on hold .... for a moment. I was concerned about all of the sloshing sounds, and no amount of repacking was doing the trick (I blame the brewery for the bottle fill).

So, I recalculated, got a new box .... and now .... I may have gone overboard.

Updated Haul Hint: Box #1 includes 298 ounces of beer (now from all across the Southeast, although my original comments remain valid), all local food items, exotic (vice local) glassware (I picked this glass up 9446 miles from my target, by shortest distance; how many miles it will actually have traveled by the time it reaches him is incalculable, but over 25,000 miles is not an unreasonable assumption), and minor brewerania.

I would like to find more brewerania and food (and who knows, maybe beer too!), but this should be good for now. :stuck_out_tongue:

    I will ship tomorrow.

I hate sloshing boxes as much as I hate my mother in law. Funny, the same routine one sloshes one doesn’t. A quiet box is a happy box.

Hint 2: You’re state is larger than mine
Hint 3: You have not been in NBS BIFs since round one, but you have been in most of the NBS BIFs.
Hint 4: You have rated more beers than me

Hint 5: You have enjoyed some high ABV beers from my state
Hint 6: You have enjoyed more styles of beers then I have

Funny about the sloshing, I hate it as well and have repacked several boxes before. As a last resort Ive done a double box like a 16 cube into an 18 and just stuffed foam in, it works well obviously and double boxed would survive a fall off a cliff. I did this when shipping beers that included a whale that was irreplaceable well beyond cost. I don’t see a difference between cans or bottles, some are noisy some are not, I think the lower the fill the more noise but that’s obvious and there’s nothing you can do but bury it deep into a box. After I wrap I kinda sound check the beer and the noisy ones go in the middle.
