I heard the place across from OH has some really good burgers. I think it’s called Mc’dougal’s or something like that.

Minetta Tavern's Black Label burger is pretty overrated. The meat is good, the onions are nice, but despite the $33 price tag it lacks complexity that you get with the Emmy Burger.

MacDowell's maybe? I heard the Big Mick is great.

I've always thought of you as the resident Good Guy on this thread, Rob, but after reading this I'm putting you on notice, you small-minded piece of shit.

As someone who ran what was probably his last marathon yesterday and had a profoundly beautiful experience, just like countless others, I resent your characterization of the event. I can think of no other day on which the city more truly and fully comes together and presents the best version of itself. The love and fellowship between friends and total strangers alike reaches a peak on the first Sunday each November, and that far outstrips the temporary inconvenience encountered by some in navigating their way around.

And to keep this somewhat on-topic, a guy whom I gather chooses to spend an inordinate amount of his time waiting in beer lines isn't really entitled to whine about being rerouted around a fucking park for an extra hour of travel on one day of the year.

A hearty congratulations to all who were out there running and a heartfelt thank you to all who were out there cheering!

    P.S. If I'm there on the 16th, my beer's on you.

Wahh, someone is being mean to me on the internet.

I'm going quit BA and have a "friend" intervene on my behalf.

Sooooooo. I wonder what this week’s release line up will look like. Weather was pretty nice over the weekend huh?

Seriously - while I get people not “getting” something that they have no interest/knowledge in, personally I love the NYC marathon despite the inconvenience.

Every year we head down to 4th Avenue to cheer. 2.5mm people come out to watch thousands of runners from all over the world who’ve come to run one of the most if not the most iconic marathons in existence. These include top pros, people with disabilities doing the unthinkable, people running in honor of someone or something important, people raising money for good causes, and just people looking to test themselves (be it a seasoned person trying to break 3 hours or a first timer just looking to finish the thing). This isn’t the local 5k turkey trot - it’s about a lot more than a new shirt.

About 5 years into someone’s BA membership they tend to snap under the weight of the general snark/negativity on here and go totally apeshit. Let’s see how you’re doing in the spring

Why isn't everyone jumping up and down about Diamond Reflection? In my top four OH beers, for sure.

Hahaha... You marathon people don't keep your thing to one day a year... Yeah the thing is annoying, go run where people don't live or do 105 laps around your local track.

I saw it up for draft pours, but no word on cans. Are we assuming it'll be a mid-week drop?

It was a late addition to last Saturday's release. After initially being more of a midweek thing, it seems Rochester cans have been showing up either Friday or Saturday.
