With LA Beer Week fast approaching, it seems like a good time to let other Beer Advocates know about a new bottle share that is just starting up in Santa Monica. The bottle shares are being held near the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. The share group is an offshoot of the West LA share group that was meeting last year. The next share will most likely be held in mid to late July. If you are interested, watch this thread. I'll post information on how to RSVP when it gets closer and we lock in the next date. First, I hope everyone that watches this thread is staying safe and healthy during these challenging times. No, we are not scheduling a live bottle share, at least not until we come out the other side of this pandemic. However, the West LA / Santa Monica share groups have been holding online Zoom shares. Its been a nice way to connect with and share a beer with follow BAs. I thought I would extend an invitation to those watching this thread. If you are interested, PM me and I'll send you the link. Like many of you, I was hoping to be back to live bottle shares by now. But the spike on COVID 19 cases in LA has put the brakes on that. On Sat, July 4th, we are going to do another online Zoom share., starting at 4PM. If you would like to have a beer tomorrow, with some like minded enthusiasts PM me, and I'll share the meeting link with you. You can share it with friends. Happy 4th of July.
