Iconic beer labels

Supposedly one of the most identifiable trademarks during their peak era of the 30s-50s. Of course, (and in a story I've told before) by the 1970s, it had already become forgotten by many. One day, at the factory I worked at and one of my co-workers asked me,

"Jess, did you go to the Olympics?"
"No, why?"
"Because of your hat with the Olympics rings."

Pretty sure the woman asking lived in Newark or vicinity, too...

 

Dogfish head has some artist drawn labels which are nice. So do numerous other brewers. Sometimes the label is better than the beer-

Just scrolled through the thread, so someone might have mentioned it, but really surprised not to see a picture of some SN Bigfoot labels throughout the years. Or that full back tattoo that the one dude got

 

Haha reminds me of that song "Pink Elephants on Parade" which was a trip to me as a kid.

*Edit* which I just found out was in DUMBO lol honestly I only remembered donkey kids smoking cigars and that song from the movie.

You're getting your Disney movies mixed up. The 'donkey kids' were in a scene from Pinocchio, not Dumbo.

I've always been fond of North Coasts Old Rasputin label, the image has been around for years, and the beer ain't half bad either.
