    Fat Tire.

One of the 3 most popular gate way to “craft” beer. Many people think new Belgium is fat tire.

I loved that one. Such a shame about their lame redesigns.

Agreed ... I think Sam Adam's is guilty of that as well.

Snake River redesigned their cans too. I'm not pleased.

For some reason, in my early teens, I collected beer cans and still have them. My avatar is one of them. The can just says "Beer No frills". Probably the opposite of an iconic label.

And the opposite of craft beer today.

I remember when that was first aired. I was crying. I thought it was beyond funny. Today it would never air.

    Enjoy

Germany has some of the "cutest" labels. I especially like the cartoonish representations of their breweries. Also, not sure if it counts, but think Hofbrau is the only brewery to feature photographs on their packaging.

That's why there were only 3 bottles - the odds were worse than playing Russian roulette with a six-shooter.

    Yes!
I was getting worried that nobody will ever mention THIS...
But imho there is nothing more iconic than the label on the Sierra Nevada PA, never forget when I saw it for the first time - and when I drank it for the first time..
Their video just sums it up for me, and all of these sentiments are perfectly captured on the label. Long live whoever created this artwork and long live the guys at Sierra for creating a brew with such depth!

Military generic beer you bought at the PX. They did the same with Bourbon etc.

I loved the creative playfullness, wit and irony, let alone the attitude portrayed on this Kusfollin West Coast Pale Ale from Barcelona, Spain.
The early editions came with a label made of a piece of cloth, showing a monkey holding a Molotov Cocktail, Planet of the Apes style. Then on the back, were the instructions how to make a real Molotov Cocktail peeling off the label and using it as the rag and the bottle as the grenade. Wonder if drinking it in excess made anyone ever play it out and became an ape, like suggested/predicted on the front?
