smh, people...no lie though, my dad tried to gulp a barrel aged Wicked Weed I let him try, just the other night. I was like "stop it!" First time I was ashamed to be his child

 

Finally a little progress on my garage. I’ve got about six Oktoberfest beers I need to make some progress on too.

 

I'd never chug this one (or any other beer at my age anymore) but you'd never know this is upwards of 11% abv, and it's so tasty it's hard not to take one sip after another.

This could be any dark beer, but it’s last year’s Kentucky Christmas Morning (Hardywood’s gingerbread stout with coffee [called Christmas Morning] aged in bourbon barrels, pretty sure)


First time I had this a few years back I thought it an amazing balance of the barrel and the spiced stout. It’s still a little cold, but the bourbon seems to have disappeared.

No I have not, not yet anyway, I am waiting for New Beer Sunday, but now that you mentioned it I am craving it! I picked up a 4-pack in NC thinking they would not sell them in VA, but it appears they are everywhere. Great Brewery and I am sure I won’t be dissappointed!

 

Damn this is tasting near perfection. @TheIPAHunter if there's a Grimm IPA you have to have it's this one or lambo door. @JayORear can I get a witness

Sipping lovely but gonna let it warm for a few minutes to see what else comes out.

 

So happy it’s Friday, so happy to have a 3-day weekend, so happy to have my dog back after his manhood was taken from him. I like this more than I should. Nothing is overpowering, just tastes like a great DIPA to me. Cheers all.
