Illuminated Mugwump Brunch. Fantastic Sour DIPA. Great fluffy head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy orange juice, lemon, lime, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, strawberry, blueberry, red/green apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread malts; some musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang; and pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, lactic acid, fruit tang, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy/bitter dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive/lactic, minimal warming 8%. Fantastic El Dorado, Lemondrop, Huell Melon, & Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy/vibrant hops/fruit, Lacto complexity, and fairly dank/earthy notes; with a great clean pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Loved it. 4.2

Impressive planes - just the fact they're still in use today! Nothing like looking at a buff coming in for a landing from a straight on view on the flightline.

 

Pretty good this year - to damn bad it just hit my local store like last week and is already a month old.

Have not even seen celebration yet either.

Sold brew regardless although it still aint up to par with that east coast 2016 edition of born yesterday! WTF kinda of beer fluke was that in 2016, so weird.

Grabbed me a regular ole beer while I decide what's next. Up at 0350 for work but I think I'm good for a few more. UCF looking pretty good against Tulsa....
