Pumking is always world class for me. Aromas and flavors of huge pumpkin, seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, gingerbread, toasted pie crust, caramel, brown sugar, and light herbal hops. Light-moderate herbal hop/spice bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied; balanced bready/grainy creaminess and hop/spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness, never astringent. Super drinkable, minimal warming 8.6%. This feels more balanced fresh than it used to be years ago. I used prefer it with some age to balance out the spices, but it seems to be good to go immediately these last few years. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Will definitely buy if I see it. Gone off the shelf in most places already. Warlock seems to stay around for a while though. Thought the Nitro version was similarly impressive.

Proud that you caught the multiverse of possible euphemisms implied by that... cheers!

There was something off with my Cycle bottle, so I’ve moved on - High West BA Victory at Sea:

18 Oct. 2018. Tastes great, but the tongue coating (rye barrel) is too drying for me. Have a great Saturday y’all!

DESTIHL Cranberry Criek. Excellent sour. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy cranberry, red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough; lighter notes of peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang/tannins, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/grainy wheat, lactic, acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy/tannic dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very smooth, pretty refreshing, not overly lactic/tannic, zero warming 5%. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy fruit and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy/tannic dryness. Loved it, no complaints.
