Revolution Brewing (2019)

I went as well, it was a very cool event, thanks for taking notes and posting; I kind of forgot half of the stuff.

I think the beer they had on tap was "Totally Uncalled Four". This predates me buying anything more crazy than gumball head or anti-hero, but I think "Uncalled Four" is their 4-year beer that's a quad with chamomile. They put some of it in barrels for 2.5 years, and that became Totally Uncalled Four. It's a precursor to VSO because of the time.

That beer was also really good.

Saw the flyers on this event and noticed Freedom of Expression (strawberry rhubarb) is a special release for that; the more you guys use Strawberry the more beer I'll buy! Though I can't make that event, so hopefully it becomes a more common brew down the line!

 

I've slowly been working through last year's cans. Had my last Gravedigger Billy and thought it was fantastic. The smokiness has mellowed and thought it was integrated a little better. They've been holding up well in the cans.

 

Same. I have one VSOJ left. Had one last weekend, and it was amazing still. Had a Vanilla Deth on Wednesday during the Hawks game, and thought that one was very good, also. I'm all out of any of the others I had bought. Just have 19 Cafe, Tar, and Plums now.

 

Gotta make room for the beer I'm buying today

 

The next 2-3 weeks is absolutely insane as far as beer releases go. Budget crushing couple weeks here.

 

I also got the "Can we make some room in the beer fridge for the the turkey to thaw?" request yesterday. Which I took as a challenge versus just taking some beer out for a few days.

 

Definitely a "challenge accepted" moment.

 

For todays release, can we get an occasional line update? Im having to work today and wont really be able to line up til after 4. Im assuming that's way too late, but you never know.

Are you serious? Jesus. Not needed in the slightest. The last few of these releases I was able to waltz in an hour or more after open and get all cans if desired. People are just insane....it never ends....

 

I'm showing up at 4 for the draft list.....my bet is cans will still be available.

There are apparently also people in line at Begyle for BA Imperial Pajamas, so...clearly the early winter has people acting crazy.

Thank goodness, I misread this and thought people were lining up for barrel aged pajamas....

 

Upon reading your clarification, half the people in line at Begyle have now left.

 

Why does anyone care what others care to do with their time, like lining up for beer?
At first I thought this was sort of a rhetorical question....but now I really wonder why anyone cares. I need answers.
