I don't have an exact count, but between those here in the States and those in Europe I'd say it's probably somewhere between 50-100.

I've got 61 listed here, but it's easily more than double that. I took my first brewery tour in 1969 (I would turn 10 later that year), and haven't stopped since.

I have visited scores of breweries, but without a doubt my visit to Heineken in 1970 was the best. They gave us drink and food and plenty of info about the area. They remain as a credit to my understanding of beer as a positive force to human concourse and endeavor. We were a group of people from the Americas, Asia, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and many others. It was completely oriented to those of us travelling the continent in a particular summer.

Missed a few others by showing up at the wrong time/day. (Because I happened to be right there, for other reasons.)

I had you figured for an OCD kind of guy and that you'd have a list of them. (Like me.)

I'm closing in on 600, although my list here on BA doesn't reflect all of them because many predate my joining this club. I've visited breweries in all but 5-6 states, and I hope to finish them off in the next few years.

Despite building something that would allow me to track all of it, definitely not. I tend to live in the moment and rarely stop to capture it; during or after.

Maybe this will be one of my resolutions for the new year.

It’s not about how many brewerys you visit, its always going to come down to quality.....
A top rated brewery list would challenge us all to visit more

I wanna say over a hundred, look at my list. Tons in WA of course, plenty in the New England area as well. Trying to visit every state, and breweries seem to follow (imagine that :stuck_out_tongue:). Definitely some bars though too.

I've got to figure it's north of 100. Not really sure though, never actually tried to count them but I rarely leave my local area without stopping at a brewery and am always interested to visit new ones

I have no idea how many I've visited - I try to get to one or two when I travel, and I tend to get around. Probably at least 50, maybe over 100, but I don't know for sure.
I don't keep lists, though usually if I run across a beer I remember if I've had it before (ones that I tried a couple hours deep in the BA fests tend to be fuzzy, though...:sunglasses::grin::stuck_out_tongue: )
The first one I went to was the Budweiser brewery in Merrimack NH, I must have been 3 or 4 years old. Obviously I didn't try any beer, but I remember seeing the Clydesdales (and Dalmatians) in the stables, I have flashes of the canning lines through a viewing window, and having soda, which at that age was a novelty.

This is a great question. I guessed 31-40, but I really have no idea. I've stopped in so many tiny breweries while traveling and when I lived in VA, I can't recall. I should be better about entering places on here. Is there a way to sort places by type? Maybe I'll go look.
