Have a nice Saturday BA. Got some errands to run today, and a bottle share in the evening. Haven't been sober all night. Ever get a craving for Claussen mini dill pickles at 2 AM? I did. Meijers saved the day, or night in this case. Bought 4 jars, have 2 left.

Insanely amazing as usual. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, caramel, vanilla frosting, cream, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, dark fruits, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light roast/charred and herbal/grassy/peppery hop bitterness on the finish. Full body creamy, silky, velvety, rich mouthfeel. Light slickness, sticky hops, and chalky char/roast. Lightly increasing hop/char bitter dryness. No cloying, acrid, astringent flavors. Insanely smooth/soft for 13%, minimal warming ABV. Every single Mikkeller SD beer that I've had has been better than it's EU brewed counterpart. This is no different. Far less bitter, way more vanilla frosting flavors. Smoother/silkier mouthfeel. Totally worth the 4 pack price. Same with the Beer Geek Brunch. Will get again.

My favorite album of the day since release yesterday. Time for another Symphonic Black Metal run for the weekend.

    Good morning...

A rare and probably obscure Italian pale ale for lunch. Kind of fruity. Not bad, but not worth seeking much anymore.

Surly Todd The Axe Man. Glad to have in the state now. Amazing as usual. Aromas and flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 7.2%. Amazing Citra/Mosaic profile. Very juivy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced clean bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Top tier stuff. Will always be in the fridge now. Looking forward to Abrasive this week.

Another beer my parents brought me back from Maine. It has an average rating, and was canned in June, but I thought it was pretty good.

I read not too long back that Surly was coming to California - haven’t seen a thing. Still waiting for 12 ounce bottles of CBS (as bombers of 2018 still sit on the shelves) also. Last but not least, I’ve never seen Founder’s Harvest Ale our here either. Raul is not happy

Good morning advocates. Too much good beer on hand to sleep. Cracked open this pipeworks baked layers brewed with Coconut's, vanilla, and cocoa beans and it's a fucking mess. I love the notes of vanilla and coconut but it just doesn't blend together well in this beer. I can smell this beer all day but I wouldn't be able to drink it. Just drained poured it while writing this cheers

I don't make the decisions. But I can always fill the void you need, if necessary in other ways. I'm here for you :sunglasses:

Excellent pumpkin ale as usual. Aromas and flavors of big cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, gingerbread, biscuit, light coconut/fruitiness, and herbal spice earthiness. Touch of booze in the aromas as it warmed. Light-moderate herbal/cinnamon bitterness, and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; creamy/silky/bready malts; some sticky spice and bourbon/oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannic dryness, no cloying/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.4% or barrel booze. Awesome balance of rich malts, spices, and bourbon barrel presence/integration. Nothing overwhelming. Would buy again. Glad this is available locally this year.

A cool 63, breezy, overcast and misty morning so far. Today’s forecast is for a high of 65...it actually looks and feels like (our) fall today...should only last a couple of days...Cheers from dreary SWFL, and have a great Saturday y’all!

Javatized Coffee Stout from Lupulin (while I get started on some home brewing).

Very smooth, and an excellent example of the style. Cheers!
