i don’t follow football at all but the Titans recently made a fan out of me for their David Berman tribute on their jumbotron the other week.

That's certainly a weird thing to do in Hot Mess Bachelorette City.

Heading to St. Louis now for a quick visit. Hoping to swing by one of the locations to pick up a few bottles and try a quick pint.

Kinda off topic here, but does anyone know if side project bottle conditions with a “killer” wine yeast strain (ie CBC-1) or are their bottle dregs harvestable to grow up their mixed culture? Thanks.

Im sure they do, but I’m not one of them.

I never cared about NFL until Peyton was drafted. I always just cheered for his teams.

Now I just follow it for fantasy football and gambling reasons.

You can harvest dregs from theirs. I’ve done it.

Has anyone gotten any info as to what the available to-go bottle will be during BBT week?

my thoughts too. was thinking it would be announced this week and fairly early in the week. waiting until next monday basically makes it a 24hr notice.

They're charging tax now on to-go bottles from the brewery? Can anybody else confirm this is new policy?

I’m sure a local could confirm for sure, but heard this was the case from someone that picked up bottles for me early November. An October pickup wasn’t taxed, so maybe a Nov 1 change?

Does that mean they are making beer in another location? Maybe the barrel warehouse is elsewhere and the law considers that manufacture?

Or they’re tired of eating the tax. Almost every other brewery in the area charges tax so I’m sure it’s not optional. It’s either build it into the cost or charge for it.

the way it was explained to me was that 1) they should have been doing it all along and the brewery was paying for the tax not charged and 2) they were tying to “streamline” things (not sure that’s the right term but it’s the one the bartender used) by not having people drink on-site at the cellar and then shoot over to the brewery to pick up to-go beer.

Planter’s House available this weekend at both locations for on-site consumption only. Gin barrel-aged wild ale with hibiscus and clementines.

SP’s first and only gin barrel-aged beer?
