First event I've seen is Tim Whiskers Bananas Foster Oak-Aged Imperial Stout @ noon.
A second special beer will be released later in the day.

I know pastry stouts aren't everyone's thing, but it's gotta be better than getting trampled at Walmart.

Republic 7 corners is having it's usual black Friday stout Bonanza. I don't think it's the official name of the event but it's a good one.

New Bohemia has a midnight BCBS bash this year which sounds like a horrible idea timing-wise.

Wild Mind is releasing a few bottles. So far they've announced barrel aged barleywine and imperial stout.

I don't have any "special" releases like some of the other cool kids, but the BrewFarm Taproom is open Black Friday (and SAT&SUN as well) from 3-7 each day. I can assure y'all of eight tasty beers on tap and a very non-mall atmosphere. Come on out!

Any consensus on best BCBS bottle release events on Black Friday? This will be my first time in Mpls for Black Friday.

Is this normally packed? I’m guessing so which is why they sell early bird tickets?

That was my experience with it a couple years ago. Was fine when we got there a little before opening but shortly after that there was a wall of people standing behind us at the bar.

If there's nothing you HAVE TO HAVE, just go in the early afternoon. Last time we went (two years ago?) the place was borderline empty...but there were also several taps they were out of.

Odd that Republics list does not include 2019 BCBS or any of the variants. I'll go elsewhere I guess. Maybe Stanleys again?

Thought that was weird as well, seems...strange. Stanley’s just posted on FB but.....they didn’t say what they will be tapping

I was thinking maybe they are yet to be announced? They mention 40+ beers tapped but only list 34.

10pm equals midnight and 34 equals 40+. Not sure why this is so confusing.

Renting a house in St. Paul for Thanksgiving. I'm not normally in the Cities for Black Friday, so thought I'd see if anyone wanted to provide some insight beyond my usual haunts for BCBS.
Any recommendations where I'd have a decent chance to snag a variant or two?
I'd gladly take it to PM if you don't want to advertise too much.
