Is Ceylon to cinnamon as Wild Thai is to banana?

 

Ceylon is different from cassia which is what most people associate with the spice cinnamon. Kinda interesting they chose ceylon cinnamon since its much milder and cassia is really what people associate with like cinnamon rolls and baked goods.

so we’re 100% sure that Experimental ACE wasn’t just the first iteration of this, before they came up with the super cool High Density Hop Charge label?

 

Thats what I am banking on. I think the Experimental was just hopped (as normal ACE is) but with the gel/liquid Citra (Citriquid if you will). This HDHC "treatment" is adding more hops and/or additional hopping times (be it with or without the Citriquid) although as someone pointed out the description on the OH site mentions the Citriquid for this HDHC being released.

That being said, they could be screwing with us #OHHatesLocals?

 

What's the over/under on these 2 being able to pick out the peanut butter variant without reading the label?

 

Pintxos is tasty, got a dank-ish quality to it, maybe tiny bit of melon in the finish? If you're on the fence, I recommend you try it.

Regarding the detection of peanut butter, I think we all can agree that Other Half uses adjuncts really great- great meaning large or immense, I use it in the pejorative sense.

 

If I was able to tell the regular Mylar Bags from Daydream Mylar Bags from smell alone I'm pretty sure I could detect peanut butter in beer.

 

I can vouch for spinsamzo. He could tell the snickers stout from the non-snickers stouts last weekend

yes yes. but a) it has peanuts and b) I was really just trying to highlight the subtle nuances that Sam’s palate can pick up
