    Have a nice Friday BA. Another random all nighter, no surprise there. Was hanging out with some friends watching the newest 2 Star Wars(Ep 7/8). Never seen any of them oddly enough. Loved both, and will have to revisit for sure; because I probably didn’t digest the whole plot efficiently enough the first go around.

    Surly One Man Mosh Pit. Got some fresh cans. Fantastic NEIPA. Very hazy, but not opaque green like the growler I reviewed. Great fluffy head retention/spotty foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-plus body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, minimal lingering hop astringency. Smooth, nicely soft, not overly aggressive. Minimal warming 7.2%, or lingering hop burn. Fantastic Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Really outstanding stuff for the style. This was definitely far less turbid/harsh/chalky than the tap review; and more crisp/resiny on hops. Glad I got the pack to compare. 4.2

    Dark, blackish color with ruby highlights around the edges with good tan cap and lacing.

    Aromas of pumpkin pie spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, with dark chocolate undertones.

    Nice spice influenced taste with notes of chocolate, ripe figs, cinnamon, nutmeg, with undertones of vanilla and caramel. Dark malt in the mix I suppose but there is only the barest trace of roast bitterness and that only in the aftertaste. Simple flavors that stand out as distinct yet blend well together, very undemanding and easily drinkable.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    This is a slightly sweetish evenly spiced Stout that could easily be enjoyed by a regular light beer drinker.

    We’ll be going on our first real extended vacation in three years later today. Going to do a side by side of coffee to fuel me for the preparations and packing.

    This band had a song on this week’s Walking Dead. And personally, I don’t think that one character died at the end of the episode.
