Yeah, when expanded Lincoln, I always wished they would have

I’m fickle with vanilla, I think it overpowers more than not (same with maple). So if this is the case, I’m really glad I only got the regular cans.

 

It got a little bit better as it warmed, where the spiciness of the cinnamon showed up, but definitely worse than regular or apple brandy. IMO, obviously.

 

Vanilla definitely mellowed with some time on it and the cinnamon and light barrel cake through.

IMO, the four pours I had:

Apple Brandy > Regular > Vanilla > Pommeau.

Regular is really good this year.

lovely. very thoughtful of HA to only have enough on tap to last nearly one full hour

 

maybe they’ll have a keg per day during the pick up time? Either way, won’t help me since I’m picking up my cans this afternoon.

 

Sure but then it's less in cans. We'd complain if that last package sold out in 2 minutes and there was Apple Brandy on tap for the entire day.

 

I'm always a more on tap vs. packaged kind of guy but I realize that I'm probably in the minority/fortunate to live just a few minutes walk away. This applies to breweries in general though, for me at least.

 

Vanilla kicked at Lincoln..Nitro on now.

Packaging is super cool.

 

OK now that surprises me. Seems like they made a ton of vanilla, at least based upon can allotments.

So vanilla. At first I thought it was fine (a bit overpowering. But as it warmed, the coconut and somehow cinnamon cane thru. Much better than expected.

 

Was at Lincoln from open till bout 12:30
Was not a shitshow in any way

Got a seat, had all the available pours (vanilla was not on )
Can pickup was easy
Moved over to balmoral where vanilla was on tap
No crowd at all
Vanilla is good as is apple brandy
Pommeau is ok. Nice variant to have a pour of

I think they revoke that privilege when the green jacket is the only thing they have on...

 

Just sat down, all variants are still on.
