PM me if you'd like to set up a trade. Plenty of great beer in New Jersey I'd be interested in, I'm sure.

The number of brewers doesn't impress me, number of countries really does.

Amazing to have a 4 acre brewery in Charlotte, complete with everything. Really 4 acres, great beer and lots of room.

I guess I should have kept better track ... a lot of is documented within different media. I'm thinking 2020 could be a record year of brewer visits with all of the new guys out there.

I want to hang out at the beer garden all day and end my night at Salud Beer Shop and then one quick on at Heist due to there convenient 2am license. ;-)

Obviously want to visit all of my friends next time I'm down there.

Resident Culture is like 5 minutes from Heist and well worth the visit. Drinking beer right from the brite tanks is kinda cool.

Not going to list them but my next new visit will put my geeky spreadsheet at 99.

Can't recall exactly where, and I'm too lazy to Google it, but I read somewhere about a retired couple that were at over 1000 when the article was written. Now that's a hobby.

I will list some breweries closed years before viewed in late 70's: Pfeifer Weiss Beer (Chicago, 1976, 2200 W. Superior Av., site of famous Prohibition raid), Schoenhofen (Chicago, featured in the Blues Bros.), Best/Hapsburg (Chicago, talked to Mr. Hasterlik owner, who still kept office there), F&S (Shamokin), Old Potosi (WI, featured in Take this job and shove it). Some visits '70s to '80s: Blitz (Portland, several visits; last featured tasty new Henry's), A-1 (Phoenix, no tour), Olympia (WA), Pabst (Milw., memorable Andeker and Old Tankard Ale in Beer Garden), Schlitz (Milw), Huber (WI, Augsburger in the pub served by brewmaster), Hudepohl (Cinn., taken to lunch!), Yuengling (PA), Straub (PA), Anchor Steam, A-B (St. Louis). Early micro-breweries and pubs: Cartwright (Portland, OR), Buffalo Bill's (Hayward, CA), Rogue (Ashland, OR), Widmer (Portland, near Heathman Hotel), Manhattan (NYC - great draft British-style beer), New Amsterdam (NYC), Commonwealth (Boston, NYC). Foreign breweries since 2000: Lvivsky-Carlberg (Lviv, Ukraine - tasty porter), Augustiner (Salzberg Aus.- memorable experience), Martinsbrau (Freiburg, Ger.).

I voted over 200 but I don't know exactly. I don't tack the number of breweries that I visit or the beers that I drink. I've been the beer scene for a while!
