Heady Topper 4pk price?

    I had someone pick me up some Heady on their way back from VT. They are saying (2) 4 packs were $43. I don't think they got them from the Stowe brewery, but this seemed a lot more expensive than when I used to get them. Is ~$20/4pack where HT is at now?

    Every four pack of Alchemist beer, including Heady Topper, is $12.50 per at the brewery. I believe it has been this way since they began canning. Your friends got hosed.

    Well if they were actually your friends, they would’ve probably charged you $63. If family, it would have cost you $83.

    $12.50 at the brewery, $15 in retail stores.

    After adding tax and deposit it’s about $15 out the door at most stores in the Burlington area

    The Alchemist 12:50 four pack is one of the best deals in the business. I can't wait to pick up some 4 packs of Lucious tomorrow.

    Jolley gas stations sell them for $13.99 a 4-pack ... haven't seen higher than $15 in VT. If they paid more then they went to the wrong place.

    I'll be up there again next week. Can't wait for more El Jefe!!!

    They are 13.95 at the gas station near me and 14.95 at a few places in White River Junction.

    Last summer I saw HT cans at a place outside of Burlington broken into singles for $5 a can, so maybe they grabbed them that way without knowing. (or they are making a couple extra bucks off you for the holidays)

    I'd pay it and gently make this person aware that you know you are paying at least $13 towards their gas for the trip. I personally don't mind paying the premium for someone else to bring me beer so long as the understanding is made clear: rather than pass along some sketchy price just tell me you'd appreciate $X towards gas or the inconvenience of going out of your way.
