    A combination of mayo and aioli as far as I can tell. It does pair well with fries although if having only ketchup I’d eat fries with ketchup too.

    Hancock Old Gambrinus Light at 9.6% ABV. Clean, crisp and sweet pilsner. Already feeling so much better. Cheers to Mondays!

    St Bernardus abt 12, I already made the controversial statement that I like it better than Rochefort 10, despite the later being incredible too.

    We have it here as well. Or something like it. Must have something to do with the Belgian origin having Frites sauce with fries. Radiates out to Northern France and the Low Countries.

    One of my favorites: Frites sauce, ketchup and small pieces of raw union. All somewhat together but not mixed in one sauce.

    Getting way off topic her I believe ... I'll have a look if there is another beer before diner :slight_smile:

    Guld og Grønne Skove by Ølsnedkeren, 10% ABV imperial stout aged on Four Roses bourbon barrels. I've been mostly disappointed by beers from Ølsnedkeren but I trusted the guy at the bottle shop. This one isn't too bad at all. Probably wouldn't buy it again but it isn't half bad. Would've hoped for a bit more bourbon perhaps but all in all I'm enjoying it.

    Having a Zatte from T'IJ (Amsterdam).

    While preparing Ayam Pedis, a spicy chicken dish from Indonesia, a Dutch colony many years ago. Like New York used to be of course. Until the Brits forced this small country out. Funny thought (just to me probably) we would be speaking / typing Dutch on this forum if that had not happened. And at time there probably even would not have been a war over independence.
    We turned to monarchy rather late.
