When I am in North Carolina I like to hit a number of small local bars. They always seem to have really good bar food. And Pabst goes well with bar food. Headed back to OBX, NC at the end of the month. Expect a plethora of bar food and Pabst pictures.

Pretty stoked it’s Monday night football, I don’t watch but it gives me a reason to drink. Getting my mules aligned for Friday.

Holy shit, I haven’t seen anyone drink that beer on this thread in a long time. Is it still as amazing as it used to be?

Not bragging but I have access to some awesome local brewery IPAs/DIPAs. Think Veil and Triple Crossing as two examples. But this IPA can compete with any of them. Not to mention that it has a hell of a good price and my lazy ass does not have to stand in a beer line.

It kind of does. But I counter that by giving my turkey chili the full Cajun treatment  ... and drinking whiskey while I cook. :stuck_out_tongue:

This is a great dark lager with a hint of smoke!
    Cheers!!!!!

    From von Trapp Brewing's website:

Trösten, translating to “comforting”, is a dark lager with rich notes of chestnut and toast. Carafa and smoked malts create rich flavors lingering on a surprisingly light, smooth finish. Brewed for the cold winter nights in Vermont, but can be enjoyed on any occasion.

Yes I do my friend. Shit, I remember the Beatles when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. .And I remember Jimi Hendrix although there are a few blank spots in my memory we will not discuss.

F**k, I remember seeing Leon Russell in concert in NY in the 1960'.s. Even Edgar Winters. And the band Rod Stewart played with before he became the Wake Up Maggie Man. Damn, who would have thought I could remember that far back.
