Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2019

TW Roseville & (MPLS) got another batch of FFF- AK,GH and ZD(cans this time),also Abrasive. .

 

Hell yes it was. The fact that you could get a bottle of it for $4 was insane(I don't know that I was lucky enough to get a 4 pack). Probably one of the best values in stouts or beer, ever.

 

Only one that is close or better is CW Peruvian Morning 4pks..

 

Anyone seen the 99 pack of Pabst blue ribbon yet around the cites? I'm looking for a "friend".

 

Pretty sure they're targeting "select" markets. Closest to the cities had been the MGM down in Mankato and somewhere in the Des Moines area is coming up.

 

As of yesterday afternoon, Lagunitas Willettized Coffee Stout & Firestone Walker XXIII at the Total Wine Eagan. Really looking forward to both.

Haskell’s downtown was selling Bourbon County this morning. They had just opened the 2nd case behind the counter, so unsure if they had more in the back or if that was it. No variants.

 

MGM Minnetonka on 101 and 7 had BCBS and the Cafe and Cherry variants in the cooler last week. Still had them when I stopped by on Saturday, don't know about today.

 

The Regular BCBS was from 2018. It was sitting on the shelf all year at the bargain price of $23.99. Wonder why it sat so long? They marked it to $13.99 last week and it sold.

 

Just happened to be looking for snow blower parts at Northern Tool when I saw this. Popped over across the road to take a peek and if they're where I believe they were in the cooler it looks like they're out of all 2019, just one 2018 regular left. The good news though is that they still have plenty of DDH PseudoSue cans for sale at $11.99/can!

 

BA Ten-Fidy 4pk 12oz in the cooler Edina Liquors.

 

Yarmo Liquors and SLL both have 4-packs of Willetized stout. I think they were $12.99 at both places. Crazy good price for a really solid BA stout.

 

SLL has 2016 rum king for ya! Regular bcbs was still available $12.99 hour or so ago.

 

They're back on the shelf - $22 for cafe and cherry, and $15 for regular.

 

Those variant prices aren't bad!

 

Any recent sightings of wheat wine?

 

For those who missed it and enjoy the variants this year. Chéri and cafe are at top value on central. Along w plenty of reg and a couple verticals

 

BA Silhouette release details are available. They don't actually state anywhere (as far as I can tell) what the bottle size is but based on the price of $20 per bottle I assume it's a 750ml as in years past. Maple and scotch variants are $30 when you buy a regular ($50 total). Eventbrite fees apply.
Curious if they will release 12oz bottles for distro this year, really enjoyed those last year.

Came across KBS espresso today hyvee Rochester. Bought some other things too but believe it was $24 a 4 pack. Cheaper than I expected.
