I appreciate it! Should have worded differently. Guess I'll pack up some stuff in the morning.

You can share on the parking lot of the brewery prior to opening as long as you are on the actual parking lot and not on the sidewalk. The Cellar on the other hand you are not legally allowed to share outside as they share their parking lot with the plaza that the lot sits behind. Maplewood has been enforcing a bit stricter lately.

I'll leave narddawg314 comment about bringing beer inside on such a crazy weekend alone since I haven't talked to Cory or Karen about how to handle it this specific weekend and I'll just say this. There's a lot of great beer to be had inside the business that supports the business.

    Cheers,

I shared some bottles on the picnic tables behind the brewery on a Sunday one time. It was PN8 weekend I think. We shared some pours with the staff and seemed kosher but that was a pretty chill release/day. Pretty much the opposite of what this week will be.

Last year during the Saturday BBT weekend some folks showed up and sat next to us at the long tables. They offered to share some nice bottles if we would share some BBT. We did as there was an amazing share of SP beers going on. They opened a Pufding Goggles and after a little while we were politely told that was not allowed, to finish it but not to open anymore. So inside just enjoy the Side Project special offerings. I can hardly wait!

@Ericstl6 thanks for keeping that line so orderly and efficient this afternoon. Made picking up some to go bottles a snap despite the crowd.

You can share bottles until the brewery opens. Once it opens then opening outside bottles is discouraged.

FYI, for those interested and trying to plan their days. I got to the cellar about 30 min after open. Sunsets was still readily available and 2pp. I suspect it will be busier the farther we get into the weekend but today was pretty easy.

They posted about 40 minutes ago that today was sold out.

I'm planning on getting there super early tomorrow, have to make the drive back afterwards.

This, I still expect Friday and Saturday to be a madhouse. Nice job on picking today! Smart move for those that could.

The difference though is that on those days both locations will be open.

Thanks for the shout out. I feel like it went pretty well despite the crowd and the shitty weather.

Went around 8:30 last night and the crowd wasn’t bad at all. BBT and that new D were both great, plus a fresh squeezed in between was a nice palate cleanser. Looking forward to going back on Friday

How was D13 compared to some of the other vanilla forward ones in series?

It was my favorite, and probably my second favorite vanilla stout ever behind O.W.K. Super creamy, intense vanilla without being over the top or artificial, and while it's all bourbon barrels, I got a nice bit of rye spice to round it out.

I really liked it a lot, very nice and didn’t seem as boozy as others
