Cheers, Todd. Even though I've been here since 2006 it was mostly just to look up reviews of beers until more recently when I began participating in these forums. In both cases, I've learned more about beer than anywhere else.

 

Very grateful for what you @Todd and @Jason have created. I've been on here for quite a few years and have learned so much, and connected with a lot of people in this awesome community. I hope you pause and reflect on what you've built, it's much appreciated.

 

Sometimes I don't always know what to say on Beer Advocate. But I want to say thank you for all of you out there that accepted me and my people who left another site (a lil' bit ago) that seemed to have lost their way on keeping a clean, fair and thorough beer database. I know I can be a bit of a "troll" in other forums but well, for a day we're meant to give thanks for all of our blessings, I will give a hearty Thank You to the site owners and all of the editors on here that make it possible to talk about beer, review it and rate it.

If anything, I will also thank Beer Advocate for helping me grow up too and letting go of "former troll bag" ways. Certainly glad I'm still a part of all of this and assisting beer to further itself in its community.

Thanks to both of you guys for all you have done! I am grateful to be here to share these thanks with you! We just noticed recently how many of our close friendships have been started and continued around brewing and drinking beer. The impact you have had on a community of folks dedicated to finding and enjoying great beer cannot be measured. Thanks again and I hope we are here, all of us, for many years to share this message. I went to my brothers house and couldn't drink. 90 miles round trip.
But I left room for at least a couple beers, once I got home.
