    Switching gears from stouts and winter beers, I've been craving hops again lately. My last 2 nights have been spent on these beauties

    And holy Santa Clause shit... I'm in Sierra Nevada / IPA heaven. These are some of the most balanced brews I've had in a long time. After chasing whales for awhile, I'm coming back to reality and SN is/has always killed it.

    Jai Alai it is. With a big-ass salad. Oh, Jai Alai . . . I love you. I'm going to have to dive into Flower Power when I get back to New York, because I'm not entirely sure what I'll do without fresh Two Hearted and Jai Alai next semester.

    Goose Island party at Tylers tonight. I kept the pint from a Honkers (nonic) and IPA (tulip). I did have a Mild Winter (not bad) and GLBC Christmas Ale on tap--I had to, its that damn good.

    You sure do. Great beer, and an absurd value. $8/ 4-pack for a beer like that is just weird.
