Damn it! So I guess getting in line early is what it's going to take to get a sunset. Were they still two per person today?

 

yes. and you could get them in the BBT line or the on-site line.

 

They just tweeted that they're out at both locations now. Hopefully that kills some of that line...

 

Yeah, sold out much faster today. Got in line early and thought both lines would be fine but sold out just before we got to the front. Definitely going with the BBT line tomorrow.

 

In line at the brewery at 1pm today and missed Sunsets.

 

Sunsets sold out in about an hour at The Cellar. Happy to have been able to grab the couple.

Overall, today was great. Was packed, but can’t complain about something that was expected with all things considered. BBT b3 is... well, special. Building that much complexity into the flavor without any adjuncts is really a big achievement and extremely impressive. D13 is what I hope all vanilla barrel aged stouts would taste like. It’s sweet vanilla, chocolate fudge, yet also delicate at the same time. Thoroughly enjoyed both, and was a good time sharing beers with Chris and Doug (you know who you are).

Hope to be back again next year this time (or maybe even sooner).

 

Looking for at least one person to split some bottles tomorrow morning. BBT & d13 . I'll have my wife and maybe one other.

 

Really well said, man. I’ll just add that the staff and crowd management was perfection, Sunsets was fantastic, and @Vitacca is a great dude. I think I would head to StL next year regardless of whether or not I land a BBT. The on-site and to-go were worth the trip for me.

 

Where is sunsets to go being sold today at the brewery, out the back alongside bbt bottle pick ups or over the counter inside alongside on site stuff? Thanks!

 

When I asked yesterday, I was told both would happen (like yesterday). I'm hoping that is the case.

Corey just said they'll probably only sell Sunsets out back today.

 

I can assure you that we are doing both places. I am inside staring at the over the bar cases and I helped move the out of the garage cases. So both spots.

An absolutely incredible weekend! Awesome beers and some of the best ppl on earth!

Can’t wait for brewery anny in a couple of weeks!
