Monkish Brewing (2019)

I definitely saw this group at the dead monk release. They probably had 6 full cases!

 

I'm sure this has been addressed ad naseam, in which case my sincerest apologies, but is there a particular day of the week that Monkish typically releases cans or is it totally arbitrary? I perused the last few releases on instagram and they seemed to be around Friday/Saturday, but there was a random Monday sprinkled in so I just wanted to inquire. Thanks for any insight.

 

It used to be far more random, but the last few months it's definitely seemed heavily weighted toward friday-saturday

 

Possibly maybe today. Or maybe possibly tomorrow. Check your IG just before noonish today.

 

Heavily Friday/Saturday, recently. This week, my guess is a double/triple Saturday release (for Thanksgiving), we will find out for sure in 45 minutes.

And one is a.....drum roll...hard seltzer. bwahaha.
At least there is a lager.

Cant blame em for trying new things/following the trend..at least they still came out with a nice triple and DDH dipa. Seltzer ain't for me but if they're still pumpin out good brews then screw it lol.

That stout they dropped a few days ago, Carrito, is fantastic. So well balanced. Hits all the notes without being overwhelming. I was expecting a sugary pastry bomb and was pleasantly surprised at how nuanced it actually was. I hope they keep dropping stouts like that one.

 

Hey, Bro! How does this one compare to their other all nelson DIPA, Broadcasting Live?

 

I’m not him, but it’s essentially DDH Broadcasting Live, so even more intense Nelson flavors and aroma. It’s the best Nelson-only IPA I’ve ever had.

 

Does you cup look more blueish and gold? Cause I swear I got the golden state cup lmao! Got 3pcks of the rawr rawr and I’m down to only 1

 

Looks like the classic Laker purple and gold to me. My first can of RAWR RAWR !, this is a great new recipe.

IMO there's zero Nelson flavor. I went today and was actually kinda pissed at how they genericized the hop.

 

Anyone else excited for tomorrow’s drop of space cookie!? Also gonna be my first triple dry hop I’m spoiled it’s from monkish

 

Check out this screenshot from their Instagram story. Pretty cryptic post. Look at those bottles and the roll of labels... I’d put good money on a barrel aged stout dropping real soon.
