I was one of the first ones in like today to pick up my BBT from the back of the brewery. I was surprised to see they only had 5 cases of sunsets back there and it was only 1pp..

It wasn't much more but it was more than 5 cases back there. We made the call to change it to 1pp to get the beer into more people's hands and so that I could walk the line and let people know about where it would cut off. That way people were not having to stand out in the cold damp weather. There was a predetermined allotment for all the days of BBT week. Trying to gauge how much to do on each day is not an exact science, but in the end there is a finite number of bottles.

I really hope BBT and/or D13 will be available when I get there next Friday/Saturday. I don't want to be sad on my birthday.

That beer was a straight up home run. I can wait to add it to the cellar to share with family and friends.

I'll be at side project tomorrow hoping to get a Kriek. I'll be there around 2pm. If anyone is going and would want to swap your sunsets for an ambiente 1:1 let me know. Trying to get a trade partner a bottle.

Random surprise timing like they do for many of their online tickets. I imagine it's the same for in-store.

Damn, that's steep at $150. Maybe I'll have a chance via online sales at that price.

There was a shorter period for Zwanze. I was living in fear for days. There are 3-months until the Invitational. I am not sure I can live in that state of FOMO.

SP is my favorite brewery and I love them but $150 is really steep.

Food should be included at that price.

    From the website http://www.sideprojectbrewing.com/invitational:
"Invitational Tickets will be sold in person at The Side Project Cellar and online.
No advance notice for ticket sales will be given.
We’ll use @sideprojectbrew & @sideprojectcell Instagram accounts to announce when tickets are for sale."

$150 is the cost of shipping from my last 5 trades. And that doesn’t even take into account the cost of the beer. I know it’s steep, but it seems like you get well worth your value.

For comparison sake does anyone know the cost for fobab or gabf?

Great taste of Midwest was $60. I didn't go to the others but I think FOBAB is $70 ish. I was at SP last weekend. Love it, will be back next Thanksgiving. But I'll pass on this and 12 hours of winter driving adventure. I'm sure the breweries will bring their heavy hitters so it will be a great time for those that make it.
