    Yeah, it's sad to see what the other site has morphed into since it was sold. I still post and add beers/reviews there but my heart and soul remain firmly in BA.

    Absolutely! Thank you for providing this site. I was a relative late-CANmer in 2004 & we have seen a LOT of ChANges & transitions since then, but there is no place that I'd rather be. This site remains smart in the intelligent sense & its reviewers bring more to the table & a greater appreciation for beer than other sites on the Internet. I am proud to have an archive of reviews & I look forward to adding to it. Prosit!

    No, thank you!!! Beer advocate is the only rating system out there that actually cares about promoting knowledge and expertise within the community. I hope this grows and grows (but not to the point that it loses it's authentic touch)!!!

    I'm curious, Todd, do you have a screeen shot of what the home page looked like in 1996? I'd love to see it if it's much different from today's look. Today's look is exactly like I remember it from 2005 when I joined.

    Thanks, it’s a well fun site. I’ve bitched about the tight mod control in the past, but it’s necessary to save the site from guys like me on occasion. :slight_smile: it does avoid a lot of senseless problems.

    I hate this site. It has cost me many thousands of dollars, and gained me a good 50 lbs. :angry:



    Seriously though, I do really get a lot out of it. :sunglasses:
