    Quite a nice old school East Coast IPA that impressively shows the more bitter, herbal and piney side of Mosaic hops.

    A liquid lunch of barrel aged Leviathan brown ale at Rock Cut in Estes Park after playing in Rocky Mtn. NP. It tastes like a barrel aged quad with caramel, clove, dark cherry and bourbon. The life of the unemployed......

    I wouldn't say I'm a bigger fan of Citra over Centennial, necessarily, but having cans of both of these Fresh IIPA single-hop variants on hand - both canned around the same time, as well - and I can definitely say I prefer the Citra version of this beer, at the very least.

    Perhaps just a little sweet and boozy, but an otherwise excellent DIPA with a great balance of sweet malts, resinous, bitter hops and quite an array of different tropical, citrus and orchard fruit notes, showcasing the Simcoe, Galaxy and Enigma hops used very well.
