    Good afternoon everybody! Good eats tonight, started this batch of chili verde at 4am as I headed out the door, just a bit longer and it will be done.

    Starting off today with some Bale Breaker Topcutter and some Mother Love Bone.

    Good afternoon, O advocates of beer. Back with another edition of I Wasn't Going to Drink Today, But Then....
    On Today's episode, I wasn't going to drink today until Bell's Vanilla Black Note sauntered nonchalantly through the shop. And well, here we are!
    Big, dark and beautiful in every sense of the word. Aroma is dominated by sweet vanilla, but there's plenty of roast malt, bourbon/boozy bite, a little chocolate and wood from the barrel. Palate follows but hides that bourbon heat a little better. Vanilla lingers on the tongue but isn't too sweet, which is very nice!

    Well, fuck it with pics till I figure out the deal with apple or imgur. It worked before. Having an Alpine ‘Ryeder on the Storm” a 6 % Vanilla Rye Porter. Damn, gotta drive back to San Diego, could stay here all day. Getting LARRRGE!

    This beer hit the Philly area a few weeks ago but I bought this can from a location much closer to its source, in Iowa. Super bitter and complex enough to make one focus on its aroma and long-lasting flavor. I very much approve of it.

    Another Nelson. Any questions? Side note: just realized I got an I LOVE YOU TOO from Greg Koch yesterday in the Q&A thread. The beer nerd in me thinks that's pretty cool. Tomorrow, I will get an I love you, too, from a random stranger I encounter. As long as she doesn't wake up in my bed the next day, I think that will be pretty cool, too. Cheers!!!

    I’m thoroughly enjoying it !!
    I suggest hard pouring it from the pint can as there is loads of sentiment on bottom that gets churned up in the glass

    I’ll have to look out for the ones you‘be tried
