    On Thanksgiving, after a regular BCBS, a Midnight Orange BCBS, and another beer, I decided to have this Willettized. While attempting to open it, I lost my grip, it shot off the counter, bounced off an oak door, hit the laminate floor, and bounced twice. Everyone came running to see what the racket was and I got a rash of crap. It didn't break somehow, but I decided to let it rest a while. OK, it's been a while. No Willetts suffered.

    My man, I haven't had a proper D&D campaign since high school when I joined my friends' campaign and got hooked. Shame you live in the other Washington.

    Master Shredder. An IPA brewed by Veil. Their website noted:

    "This is the last time this beer will be available in the printed can! We'll be be switching to labels next time. Come get a piece of history with the last printed can of this Veil Classic."

    Not sure exactly what they mean but my guess is the new cans will look very much like the other cans they sell.

    I had a Dr. appointment this morning and spent the afternoon beer shopping. Liver and kidney function are good, along with everything else, so let's have a beer...

    Best shelf beer I've had from Upland. I don't care for their shelf IPAs at all, but this porter is very good. Dark chocolate and coffee tastes and aroma using only malt and hops. Cheers all!

    The next cans will be on blank cans with stick-on labels. Hardly "history" IMO but Veil doesn't have a distributor in DC (that I know of) so maybe I'm just salty!

    My friend, there is a difference between sleeping and passing out although for me they are kinda one and the same.

    No beer left in the fridge! Time to panic. Happened to me today. Other than some stouts I had there was just one beer left. Got my old aching back off the couch and made a beer run to Veil. Now, all is well in life.

    They have 8 to 10 beers on tap usually pretty good. Maybe two or three are usually are not styles I like. It's about six tenths of a mile from my house so I have been there maybe 15 times since they opened last year.
