Woodgrain Four Roses Bourbon BA Confectioner Stout, 14.2%ABV, and it tastes just like 2018 BCBS Prop IMHO. This is my third growlette of it, and I've had this one in the fridge for over six weeks. Incredible, hope they make it again.

 

I don’t know what the connection is between Schwarzbier and film/TV comedies, but apparently there is one.

I still use Excel not only to keep track of my financial investents but actually my beer. I started using it to track the beers I drink a few years even before I joined Beer Advocate.

This stuff is nice

8T Chili powder
4T Cumin
2T Paprika
2T Salt
2t Cayenne Pepper
2t Garlic powder
2t Mexican oregano (dried)
2t Onion powder
2t Pepper

Combine in ziploc bag and mix thouroughly

Lone Pine X Good Robot Collab. Bee Bot
Golden pale ale brewed with bee pollen, honey, and juniper. While I don't get the juniper, the honey stands right out. It isn't sweet at all. Have you ever had real honeycomb, and then chew on the wax like gum? It tastes exactly like that. Unsweetened beeswax. Dry and firmly bitter with some dank musty stone fruit hop notes. Very interesting.
