    Got a couple sample cans from the Mustang Sally rebrand. Halo FX (I thought it was Halo FFX...? But the can says FX and the ABV doesn't match the FFX BeerAdvocate page. Can someone set me straight here? Recipe change?)
    Anyway, on to the beer, Big citrusy/tropical fruit nose... Not so robust on the palate though. No discernible bitterness, weak finish. Don't want to put a review on the wrong page, so I'll just drop a score here. 3.0 perfectly drinkable but really nothing to get excited about here.

    Quite a nice Porter with a good balance of sweet, roasted, spicy and bitter notes, brewed with buckwheat and long pepper. Pühaste are proving once again that there is some great beer coming out of Estonia, apart from Pohjala.

    Beer o'clock at the Boathouse....nice local Akron brew.....every year I am always amazed at how many great Christmas ales are produced in NE Ohio (Great Lakes, Fat Heads, Thirsty Dog, Hoppin' Frog, Platform, Masthead, Collision Bend etc etc)

    Mustang Sally sample #2 -- Laden Swallow, imperial stout with toasted coconut and hazelnut. Much more solid, Pitch black with a tan chocolate head. Less-than-amazing head retention. Aromas and flavors of roasted malt, mild dark chocolate, toasty coconut, and a light hazelnut finish.
    The only question that remains is: is the swallow African or European??

    Kettlehead MI-6 - Solid stuff as usual from these folks.

    One of my favorites of their cans. Many other Kettlehead brews seem to vary when comparing from tap to canned version.

    Their desc: The use of hop extract oil and multi-label dry hop additions with Mosaic and Citra lupulin powder, leaves double IPA dripping with smooth tropical hoppiness.

    Nøgne Ø God Jul 2017 vintage, 8.5% ABV winter ale. Dark and roasty with the tiniest hint of boozy heat. Cheers!

    Good afternoon all! Just got back from helping finish the decorations on the Chistmas tree at my local city hall for tomorrow night's tree lighting.
