Tampa Bay Brewing Migration red IPA, really nice and drinking local....

 

Wasn’t planning on drinking this tonight, but a little malfunction (aka I dropped it in transit) and a leak and I guess I drink it now.

Wow. Unbelievably smooth. Orange creamsicle and vanilla dominate with a little bit of bitter. A little sweet from the lactose but clocking in at 11.2%, this is really good. Happy to get my hands on some Magnify.

Watching NBC news re Pensacola Naval Base. All clear @Marklaker ?

 

Equal parts Celebration and Founders Porter, actually quite a good combination. The porter is the dominating flavor, but the Celebration adds a kind of roundness to the flavor. I'm rather enjoying it.

 

I have had just one beer brewed by Foam. I think it was Dead Wax. An IPA. If I remember, it was an awesome beer.

Did Foam ever do a collaboration with Veil or Triple Crossing? For some reason, I think they did but I cannot remember.

Leave it to the Kinks. Remember seeing them perform at Fordham University on Oct 13, 1989 with my wife to be. Magnificent, them and her. Of course, this is them at their best (and most contemporary).

Thanks for the Dan Auerbach tune - love it! I remember seeing him and his partner Pat Carney at a little club in Akron years ago (before they hit it big as the Black Keys!), jamming and having fun....Akron boys who made (very) good! Cheers!
