    Good morning BA's. Dealing with a heavy hangover whilst cleaning up after my birthday party last night. I think that calls for a beer.

    Amager Bryghus Julebryg, 6.5% ABV Christmas red ale. Found this on sale at my local grocery store and had to pick up a few bottles. It's a harmless and easy drinking Christmas beer without too much fuss. It doesn't do wonders for the clean up job but it makes my hangovers just a tad more tolerable.

    Franziskaner Wheat Ale!

    As someone who is hasnt had a lot of this type of Ale I am impressed. Its a gorgoues change from the normal malted ales I usally drink and makes appeciate the two styles much more and smooth light alc ales in general. It makes me wonder what Ale was like before the laws that made ypu only use one kind of malt. I know oats were common. but I wonder of they just had no stigma and use and grain freely?

    Happy Sunday advocates. Starting off with some prairie vanilla noir and it's out of this world. I love vanilla stouts and this just became my new favorite. Vanilla Noir is Prairie Noir aged on organic, fair trade vanilla beans.The vanilla flavor compliments the whiskey barrel aging process and adds a delicious layer to the beer. World class stout right here. Will be having bourbon paradise as a night cap later cheers
