Monkish Brewing (2019)

I’ve heard from multiple people that went to the anniversary party that non-BA Little Twin Stars was amazing and was basically the sleeper hit of the event.

 

Yes it was the hidden gem of the 7th anniversary party and now we getting it in BA form. For those wondering how I know, its because Im a haze bro.

 

I've said that. Probably my favorite beer of the entire year, across all styles.

 

Agreed, had it at the anniversary party and the Monkish Omnipollo event and it was my groups favorite against a cast of really good beers.

 

Kind of surprised by your experience when trying it. I just finished a can of it and it screams Nelson hops. Not quite to the extent of Nelson Baby by Alvarado but a well-implemented Nelson beer nonetheless. I suppose different palates and serving style should be taken into account. I haven't had it on tap so I can't conclude a fair comparison.

 

Man don't get my hopes up, that would be awesome. Only heard great things about Little Twin Stars.. can't imagine a BA version.

 

We definitely going to have to hit that release up and even brings the girls so we can double up...

 

If it’s BA Little Twin Stars, here’s hoping it’s an Eventbrite sale like they used to do with their sour bottles. Got a feeling that an in-person sale would be a total shit show.

Any suggestions for quickest way to get from the Westwood Gateway to Monkish tomorrow afternoon around 4-4:30 PM? I’m used to Boston traffic but the Google Maps forecast is . TIA!

I'm flying in Saturday and plan on going to the brewery... if they do their can release Saturday, how long do you expect cans to last? Hoping to get some to bring to Chargers game...

 

They just did a Saturday release (triple can release). So it’s pretty unlikely they’ll do Saturday again.

 

if they do a saturday release with their first bottled ba stout, it might be a pretty tough one. 1pm ish? lol

 

Doubt it'll be another Sat release. More than likely tomorrow. You could do a couple of crowlers? Oh, right. They don't do crowlers. Only growlers. Bring some empty growlers with you and get them filled. Gorilla tape to cover up the labels.

 

BA Stout? Ha, I just want a chill day at the brewery, not looking for anything fancy lol. But are they really releasing a stout? I don't see anything...

Funny it took these guys all these years to use Monk instead of Monkish. See, I knew it would catch on.

 

Well, no can announcement yet today so I'm assuming it's too late for today? Do they ever do Sunday releases?
