And very incorrect. Even if you include the fact that taste is subjective, Fremont releases...what 4-6 releases per year? The only one I’ve ever had that I’ve enjoyed as much as your average Stasis bottle is Coffee/Cin B-Bomb.

I’ve had plenty of Fremont... and I gotta say probably the worst beer I’ve EVER had was KDS Spice Wars. Holy shit. That beer is a dumpster fire. That’s the only BA beer I’ve ever drain poured. The Coconut B-Bomb I had was also very disappointing. I like Rusty Nail, though.

The timing of all the hype drop off talk and the announcement of Fundamental Forces b2 is perfect lol.
Sunday is gonna be a frenzy... plus we may finally see the return of the confusingly salty comments section on IG.

It's funny, that Freemont distros is more available than BL stasis beers in the SFV.

I'm not surprised that yesterdays bottle wasn't sold out. Those adjuncts...can be a turn off.

I am looking to visit BL in January, so I'm curious, how does their tasting room situation suck? Thank you.

Freemont isn't even remotely close to BL in my opinion. Though the BL stout prices do keep me away unless I find them on tap usually.

Occasionally there isn't even anywhere to stand, and god forbid you ever find a place to sit.

It's an odd comparison given Fremont produces a wide range of styles at enough volume to distribute at reasonable prices. If the assessment is made strictly on their barrel programs, clearly BL wins as that's the only thing they're good at. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of Fremont because their non-adjunct BA beers are excellent and they're more affordable.

The vast majority of the brewery is dedicated to brewing operations, leaving a relatively small tasting room. It's an adequate size tasting room for your typical local micro-brewery, but not nearly big enough for a spot with such state-wide and national brand recognition as Bottle Logic. It gets packed very quickly, and more often than not there is nowhere left to sit, let alone somewhere you could stand where you could put your drink down for a second. So you're just left standing in a crowded space, gripping your drink as it rapidly cools down from your hands. It can get pretty loud sometimes too due to the crowds. Not the most enjoyable drinking experience, and part of the reason I haven't gone there for anything but bottle pick-ups in quite a while.

They won FOBAB two years in a row. Say what you will about all their other offerings, but there is no doubt that their barrel program is one of the best in the world. With few exceptions (and I would put most of the things I haven’t liked down to my personal taste, not necessarily that they were bad or executed poorly) I have loved every barrel-aged item that I’ve tried from them. I can’t say the same about some other notable breweries.

BLs ba stouts and strong ales are pretty consistently world class. Despite how crowded we make it seem here on our community, there really isn't that many breweries that can say that.

If you think BL making mediocre takes on other styles makes them "just ok or average" overall, that just doesn't jive with their accomplishments relative to most other breweries trying to do what they do on such a consistent, medium to large scale.

All of these breweries are great and make clean, defect free, and to style beers.
To say one is better therefore the other is worse or vice versa is a moot point as ones preference is an unarguable point that is neither right nor wrong, and is akin to yelling at the clouds.
Beer, as in life, is subjective and is rarely black or white.
    Carry on.
