We had a bunch of vintage Firestone bottles land in NYC last year around this time. Parabola sucaba, merkin, helldorado, anniversary series etc from 2013 to 2018. I made sure to get my fill lol cheers

 

Spent the morning of my day off, replacing my broken phone and doing a little Christmas shopping. Now it’s time for a beer and a bite to eat. Luckily for me, Jack’s Abby is near the mall! So here I am enjoying one their delicious Kellerbier’s, Modern Hell!

A thread to day about Brown Ale got me to craving one so I picked up a 6 pack. Fine brew.

 

Which kind did you get?

 

Prairie bourbon paradise. Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coconut and Vanilla. Honestly top 3 when it comes to BA stouts that I've had have. It's fu*king ridiculous but yet so smooth cheers

 

Well I was drinking Farmer Teds Cream Ale, but had 4 and that was too much at 6%. Headache a.m.
Now, I am back to Yuengling Golden Pilsner. 4.5% is easier on this old man.

Dragon's Milk Reserve Banana Coconut.
Awesome after dinner beer. Sweet in taste in a very nice way, not like sugar or syrup.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass, not sure when it was canned. Pours a very hazy yellow orange with a half finger white head that leaves a little lace behind. 3.75

Smell is clove, coriander, maybe honey, vanilla, and chai. 3.25

Taste follows clove, coriander, honey, vanilla, and chai. 3.25

Mouthfeel is almost medium, gentle carbonation, and 5.8% drinks rather easy. 4

Overall not my thing, a doctor I work with gave it to me, so I figured I would give it a go. Just kind of a odd beer, but not bad. 3.5
