One defines SoCal as having eight counties. The counties include Los Angeles, Imperial, Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Ventura. This is based upon demographics and economic ties.

LA, SGV, Orange or IE. I'm driving down to Covina from Sacramento for Christmas

I swear I saw some at Rose Market in the Culver City/Palms area yesterday (along with some FO). Call ahead to make sure I don't have the wrong Stasis release.

Always check Mr. K's in OC. He's 5mins from BL and gets a lot of their stuff.

Was about 2 weeks ago, so it might be gone, but the Bristol Farms in Corona Del Mar had 3 or 4 varieties of Stasis bottles available, including Arcane. Hope you score!

I am looking forward to Fundamental Forces. Limit 2 works for me. That is if I get it before selling out.

Okay, just tried Red Eye November '19 on tap.

As much as I thought Bottle Logic made run of the mill BA beer, I have to say I'm won over. I don't think it's blow-your-taste-buds-away good, but that actually helps it. Instead it's a beer that successfully skates the plenty of spirit character, but doesn't overpower the beer line, which is mighty impressive. I find this much more drinkable than most(all?) other BA stouts I've tried.

Taking home a bottle to see what the wife thinks.

You prob had the non members only bottles or something that simply made it to public sale because the league members didn't want to buy it all out.

A few months back, I did a side by side tasting of FO and MP Vanilla. I liked FO better.

Yes, I am a MT member and have had most of their BA offerings from the last three years.

Both breweries make great beer and reasonable people can disagree about which is better. I'm with @Rbarnes4381 in that this comes down to personal preferences.

Personally, I'm glad to have access to both.

I remember seeing your photo in the group. Some members didn't appreciate that, lol.

I'm with you. Super glad to have access to both!

MTV this year was a huge miss compared to the hazelnut maple version. The 2018 version was dynamite, pretty much the reason I joined for 2019. But yeah, no regrets for being in 2019 and BL is still great. I always have great time going up to BL

    Interesting.

Did a side by side of MPV 2019 and Modem Tones Vanilla 2019 at a share and MPV was the clear winner. Although Modem Tones Vanilla had its supporters.

The point being much of this is subjective and both breweries are doing great things.

Side note, I do love these side by side challenges, they can be eye openning.

I just saw a post elsewhere that said that this weekend is the last weekend to pickup Stronger Than Fiction. Is that true? My Eventbright tickets say December 22nd is the last day for pickups.

Can someone confirm the last pickup day for Stronger Than Fiction?

@bottlelogiclindsay could you comment on this?
