Still drinks fine after a few years, but the coffee massively falls off. It isn't hot at all so drinking my remaining three over the next few months

They've allegedly been making this for, what, 3 years now? And I've yet to come across a single bottle. I think you're all fucking with me. This isn't a real beer, is it?

Still have some original run bombers and the second year six packs. Hi West is much better in my opinion with the original bombers being the best by far.

I found a bomber of 18 this summer and thought it was better than this new release.

I found two bottles of 17 this year as well , not opened them yet.

Toss a few in the cellar and forget them for a bit.

    Enjoy

$10.49 plus tax in New Orleans.

Really dug it, but it's no KBS, CBS, or even FBS.

Truth be told, I think I'd sooner drink Ole Raspy ($7.99 for a 4 pack here). Willettized's coffee character is too subdued and it has a Hershey's chocolate syrup flavour I'm not so keen on the more I drink.

Do have to say, though, it hides its alcohol like a muthafucka...

Agreed! It's a decent beer, for a decent price. But it's not as great as everybody on here makes it out to be.

Past years has been very good or better. Current year is quite nice ,especially at the $11.99 price. I need to try a few more to give a true thought but initially it was feeling thin and a bit too sweet.

    Enjoy

Lucky man. I could not resist the Lagnunitas High-Westified beers and they were drank long ago. If I knew then what I knew now (That Lagunitas no longer made it), I would have bought so much more. The Willtettized version is just OK, in other words, it doesn't hold a candle to High-Westified using those oh so great Double Rye Whiskey barrels. Man, that was a delicious beer.

I still have a full six pack of High Westified. Wonder how it held up.

Haha for sure! It’s sitting at the back of a shelf with 4 rows of beers in front of it so I would have to remove all of those just to get to it hence why I haven’t reached for it in years. I’ll pull it out soon though.

Still waiting for it to show up here(S.CentralNY). KBS Espresso showed up in the last few days, but I prefer Lag.'s Willetized (& Peche Mortel) to regular KBS, so am holding out for Willetized.:grimacing:

I still have 2 pks, drank one a month ago. No much coffee left, a bit of oxidation but way creamier and smoother than any Willetized release. Although I found this year's vintage the best of the last 3.

I really like PM and it used to be $5 a bottle I would grab every once in a while. Have not seen a bottle in a while.

    Enjoy

I'm still sitting on about 18 high westified and drink one every few months or so. Its still stellar and I far prefer it willettized.

I agree. I bought a 6'er of Willitized, and while better than last years, it in no way holds a candle to the legit high-westified variant. I wish I bought more of it instead of mistakenly thinking it would be an annual release.

Willetized is and has always been a bit thin, while Westified has that fuller roasty character, with more delicate carbonation.
