It was time to say goodbye to one of the last remaining relics of my America Online screen name from 8th grade and get more consistent. This is my Twitter and blog name.

As soon as I pull myself out of my puddle of sick and dehydration cramps on NYD I plan to start asking about the difference between adjuncts and additives....

I would argue that Rev's barrel aged lineup is diverse enough that they don't need pastry stouts in their lineup. Their 2018 lineup was quite diverse with beers like Code Switch, Gravedigger, and VSOJ. If Rev did their entire 2020 lineup on Black Friday, you would not find me at Binny's/Jewel at 3am(@BeerCruncher).

This years is sweeter. Last years Ryeway was the driest beer I’ve had from rev. This years is a sweeter blend closer to the inexplicable magic of ‘17

I'm glad that came across correctly. Was worried for a moment I wasn't direct enough.

Were you the guy with the infant in the baby bjorn at CW Black Gold that I keep bringing up? You seem awfully upset about people saying you're a shitty parent if you drag your infant out into the cold, to wait in lines, for... beer. Does make sense, though, considering you've admitted to it. Anyone who isn't a self-absorbed douchebag would think that risking the health of their child for beer is... terrible, so I guess we all know where you fall.

Love the instant go-to when someone is offended on the interwebz, though. "You're all nerds who don't have a life outside an internet forum!" The next one will be "Go meet some girls losers!"

Hey, Cool it, man! Listen, it's cool. Infants need socialization. I've seen at least 3 people that play Doctors on TV say that the best thing to do is to drive you kid to 5 different states for beer releases, rather than spending quality time with them. I mean, everyone knows that when you're a parent, it's important to take care of yourself first. When you have a day off, you do what you want - you don't need to be specifically spending it with your kid. The baby benefits way more than you do. In fact, it's like you're doing this just for them. It's selfless, really. Afterall, it's just beer. It's not like there are better things to do with all that gas money, just like how there's nothing better to do with your time.

"Where'd you take your 1 year old on your day off?"

Me: "The zoo, man. It was great. He saw all these awesome animals, got so many great pictures, and all he did was laugh and smile all day. I even got to drink an Anti-Hero while I was there! Didn't think they'd have it at the zoo! What about you?"

Beer Guy: "We went to a beer release man. It was awesome. We stood in line for 4 hours when it was 30 degrees out, and my baby learned what snow is! And also what pneumonia is! Then someone gave me a 2 ounce pour of some BA Abraxas in line! It was so dope! Then I got my beer when I got to the register, and it was only $400 for my full allotment! So dope! Can't wait to do it again next weekend!"

Me: "Oh man. Are you flipping that stuff to start a college fund for your kid? I never considered that shitlording could be so fulfilling and provide for my family. Sounds like Chicken soup for the "not fat, not nerdy, not hairy - and also smashing them females" soul, am I right?"

Beer Guy: "Nah man, I'ma drink it. I didn't spend all last week working and waiting for 4 hours in the cold in line just to flip it. You're whack man."
