What beer are you drinking now? #2614

Hey @Shanex thanks for the good words. I’m in an odd situation where I’m ten years older than her, she’s not American, but damn, I’ve never met anyone like her, and I swear that I love her. (And for your BA’s not in the late night mix, I’m 35 and she’s 25 ).

Anyway, this beer is so damn legit. I remember my first one when all I knew were west coast IPA’s, and I initially hated it. Wow! Have I learned a lot about beer since then. To me this is a perfect east coast beer. It is a beautiful crimson red, and has such a smooth malt back bone, I just love it:

I kind of want to kick this habit of using cups made from corn, not plastic. For one, they’re expensive. And also, we’ll, it’s normal to use glassware. I’ve used these cups for too long now because of OCD/contamination issues. Maybe I’ll get better sometime. Oh well. More Centennial:

A day with the wife wrapping up some Christmas Shopping for the kids. Found this at the little store in downtown canned 11/19/19. $19 and damn so happy I can get them in NH now. Exercise done plow on, 4 to 6 inches coming to give us a white Christmas hopefully. Cheers all.

Unibroue Terrible

 

Baking some pebernødder today, a traditional Danish Christmas cookie. Of course I'm enjoying a good Christmas beer as well.
Kihoskh Juleøl brewed by Mikkeller, 8% ABV Belgian ale. I'm usually not a big fan of Mikkellers artwork but that old school design is awesome. The beer isn't half bad either. Definitely some Belgian vibes.

Day off and I just got back from getting shaved and sheared, as I will be spending next week in Florida. Enjoying a Divine IPA with lunch and feeling like I look about 17 again.

 

I finished my Christmas shopping, will try to get some stuff wrapped before my wife gets home.

 

Some legit murk from Finback. Brewing the best ipas in all of Queens. Oscillation 019 Citra, Belma, Blanc, Azacca and El Dorado. Just straight fire cheers
