Got some Mexican Morning and info on the new, bigger place. They said they’re moving just to the next complex on the same street, 8000 sq. ft and hours will be Thursday- Sunday.

Awesome, glad to know they will still be as close to me as they are now. How much larger is the new place, not sure if their current square footage.

Has Mexican morning always been this spicy? I last had it back in 2017 and a buddy of mine grabbed me some cans yesterday and wow, the spice dominates this beer to the point where everything else is muted. I seem to recall this being much more balanced.

I always thought of it as very spicy. Have to drink it last if having a few.

The first couple of times I had it I thought it was pretty notably spicy. Every time since I've felt that it had a distinct pepper presence, but it didn't jump out as aggressive. Not sure if that was batch variation or my own tastes changing/what I had that day/etc. I can't comment on these cans since I didn't make it out, but I'd say that historically it has had pretty decent bite to it.

This batch for the cans definitely has a nice warmth (I liken it to having a shot and feeling it in your chest). It's not spicy as in burn your tongue, I believe it's warm from the cinnamon. If you are doing a 3 oz pour between other beers I can see why it would be aggressive, but if you sit with a full glass, I think your palate adjusts and it becomes inviting. But what do I know.

Had a can last night, it might feel a little warmer than I recall. However, I usually have only a 13oz pour at the brewery and the 16oz can is the most I had in one sitting so maybe that's part of it?

Either way, I enjoyed the hell out of the beer and I'm glad I have a few more. Gotta pass at least one can to my dad.

Tim, I didn't get to make it out on Saturday, is it safe to assume all of them sold out?

Highly recommend Conclave’s new porter Liquid Velvet. Super tasty and you’d never guess it was 9%

Conclave released cans of DIPA Trees of Green again today. Drinking one now while rooting against the Patriots. So pungent and delicious. Conclave’s IPAs are as good or better than any brewery in NJ.

Anyone know what the plan is when they expand. Always wanted to visit but hard to justify with not being able to take too much home, plus the hour drive. I’m sure it’ll be busy at first but do they plan to have to go stuff regularly (4 or 6 packs), anyone know?
