We've been drinking “Christmas” beers for a couple of months now, but what is your Christmas beer? Which beer(s) do you plan on drinking Christmas Eve & Day?

I'll probably be sipping on this absurd bottle of Anchor throughout the 24th and spending the 25th with St. Bernardus & Rodenbach.

I brought a Christmas BOMB! with me, but the bottle shop around the corner from my apartment has a decent assortment of Christmas beers to supplement!

Love the WW but I can only buy and drink them as singles at our Old Chicago. None of the stores have it. :slight_frown:

Never anything specific except Fuller’s Vintage Ale but always heavier styles to suit the weather where I live. RIS’s, Quads, Barley Wines and Belgian Strong Dark Ales would be typical. This year the tentative plan is a Fuller’s Vintage Ale, Unibroue La Resolution and Omnipollo Prodromus to end the day. Some heavier red wine (Cab Sauv) will be had during dinner.

I been drinking Winter Welcome annually for the last 5 years mostly because the Samuel Smith nonic is my main glassware choice. I've always enjoyed it, but this year it really clicked with me and I'll grab a few more before the season is done. There is a 30 on the label this year. I saw someone post last years edition in NBS earlier today.

I don't reckon that it would age very well but who knows? In the past, when I could buy it at stores, they never lasted very long.

I have a family "mule" bringing Tree house and Trillium per my exacting selections. All I had to do is buy her some local sours.

That was me, and it was still drinking quite fine! I have another of the 2018 left; I'll probably have that either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
