Another round of emails came out just before 4pm. Finally got in! Probably submitted 7:53ish for anyone tracking / curious.

I just got an email saying I did NOT get in. So looks like everybody should know by now if they are in or not.

So not first come. I wonder how everyone was picked. I entered around 3PM. Got the rejection email today.

That's weird, because I got an "it's definitely you" email inferring that it's me who was just way too slow.

I signed up the morning after.

Yep. No go here. I signed up about 10:45am on Sunday. My letter of rejection was in my spam folder.

    Sorta relieved actually. Sorta...

Not sure how me having submitted at 7:50ish (20ish minutes after the post) on Saturday and getting it proves it wasn’t first come. Especially in relation to 3pm (presumably Sunday?)

Peanut butter beer? I'm not sure whether to be excited or outraged...Some things are better left in a child's lunch box...unless they child's lunch box gets left behind at a brewery beer release and the brewers use it for beer inspiration...queue Ants on a Log Beer...

The Energy City Peanut Butter Cup stout is the best PB beer I've had, it's amazing.

Perhaps I should said "shockingly" thick and creamy for a porter, but whatever type of beer it is, I love it.

I'd give my left nut for them to use different coffee roaster for this series...in fact, I'd give my right nut also. They'd have to pick one nut, though. I'm not giving up both.

Tugboat is just a blunt object of "earthy" coffee flavor with 0 nuance. Not just in the beers, but in the actual 2 bags of their coffee I was unfortunate enough to buy. (That second bag = shame on me)

Im 100% onboard for this. Every other part is so good, and then I taste distinct tugboat coffee and think "Fuck, if only theyd picked a decent coffee this would be unreal."

Question. Was Mikerphone the first brewery (in general) to incorporate their coffee into beers?
