    I am not that concerned about minor details in emails that get fixed/clarified quickly. As long as I end up getting the beer opportunities promised to me, and the beer is of high quality I can't complain. Just make sure to get those small details correct when brewing the beer...

    Wouldn't be a Bruery post if people weren't scrutinizing the fine details of one of their emails. I guess the plus side of that is it certainly keeps them on their toes!

    To those who have opened Thomas Rutherford, does it taste similar to Elizabeth? Opened an Elizabeth over the weekend and it was not what i expected. Far more black Tuesday flavor in there, would have liked a little more on the red wine side.

    Thanks. I haven't gotten one yet. It looks like my last email received was early December.

    I'll keep an eye out. I thought last year it came before the new year, which was why I had asked.

    Welcome to the 2020 Reserve Society. Buckle up, because you’re in for a ride. On January 1st your full benefits kick in, including:

    • 15% off in both Tasting Rooms and the D.C. Store (just show your ID)
    • 15% off any online orders (login using this email address at www.thebruery.com)
    • Exclusive beer access at both Tasting Rooms and the D.C. Store (just show your ID at the Tasting Room)

    Included Beer

    First and foremost let’s talk included beers. The beers included with your membership (that you already paid for) will be released to you as they’re ready throughout the year. On January 9th for CA memberships and January 16th for DC memberships, the following beers will become available to you for fulfillment:

    • The Bruery Only: Black Tuesday 2 Year Wine Barrel-Aged
    • The Bruery Terreux Only & Mixed: Room For You (sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels with peaches and nectarines).

    You’ll receive an email at the start of every month (typically the first Thursday) letting you know which included beers are ready and all the other fun membership offerings throughout the month. Your exclusive offerings available for purchase will also be in this email. You can see the full list of included beers for the year HERE.


    Important Details to Get Started
    • The Society kick-off party will be held at The Bruery Terreux on January 12th. Tickets will become available in the first week of January by logging into your account at TheBruery.com.
    • The east coast kick-off party will be held at Anxo on January 23rd.
    • Your welcome gift will be available in March (tote bag + 4 tasting glasses)
    • Your first beers will be available on Thursday January 9th at which time you can choose to pickup, or ship them. We offer a complimentary cellaring through February of 2021. More details regarding shipping options will be touched on in your next welcome email!
    • Your guest access card will be available to you in early January to pick up from the Fulfilment Center in Orange County or The Bruery Store in D.C. This card gives one guest access to all of your Tasting Room benefits.
