Hi all, Just came back with the following: Autumn Julius Haze Aaalter Ego Sap Super Treat Snow Super Typhoon Sssap Where'd the 90's Go New Decade Vivid And Miles To Go Green Impermanence Double Shot Wish List Honey x1 ISO: Medianoches- coconut, vanilla, 19 month, DB, open to others (not premiere or malibu) DL Variants Westbrook BA cakes DBBCBS TG stouts AC stouts HF Prairie Dawgz Surly Darkness 2019 PM to discuss ratios.
I've traded for almost everything he's listed there for Tree House (some more cans than others). Including a Rrari Crochet. None of them were my offers...they were all trades put out by other people. Is it likely that he gets a response on some of those? No, but some of his trade targets are very realistic and it doesn't hurt to throw those others in there. Don't really see a need to shit all over his trade proposal. You don't have to like it, but there are people out there who will trade bigger bottles for quantity Tree House.
Mmmkay. I've traded for almost all those TH beers too, multiple times. Using far lower tier beers. And it's only going lower. TH is extremely easy to get ahold of these days. Anyone overpaying with those bottles I mentioned for any of these cans should have never bought those bottles in the first place. Hell it would have been cheaper for them to just get TH straight up off secondary than waste the time acquiring much, much harder to obtain bottles, sit on them, wait for this one TH post out of hundreds, and trade it.
Congrats on (probably willfully) missing my point entirely! Glad we've going found the arbiter of all trading out here. We'll all be sure to come to you in order to validate our trades and make sure they meet your approval lmao.
You basically said he might get a hit on some of the beers he listed, which in and of itself ignores the content of my post. Kettle meet pot. I know it's mid-nosedive but Massholes are scrambling to protect that overly inflated TH trade value tho, gotta get what you can while you can. Keep on keeping on.
BA cakes barely have any value anymore buddy. I'm sure some of the lesser DL variants would be in play too He's saying HE TRADED the treehouse beers if you couldn't tell
Eh, you may be right on the BA Cakes, got me there! I mean, they have more value than a few TH cans though, but if you'd rather send bottles off for cans, of course you can since they're going for less than they used to these days, but again that's the same story for TH cans in general. Depends on when, and for what. And whether it's true. Frankly I wouldn't believe a Masshole trying to re-inflate the value of local hops that used to actually hold value substantially higher than cost. Almost all TH cans go for cost these days, including cans that used to be quite rare and coveted. That's the bottom line.
The new BA cakes are essentially cost dude. They sold them online as set and allowed proxies. Bottles for cans is totally reasonable if you don't live near an IPA factory like treehouse/OH and the like. I trade angry chair bottles for cans a decent amount because I'm not super happy with the IPA's down here (besides Calusa) Also Scott's a good friend of mine, I can vouch he isn't a shitlord trying to "re-inflate the value of local hops". Treehouse still trades dollar for dollar with stout releases like non-BA AC/BA mexican cakes and stuff in that value range.
Hundred dollar bills are easy to get a hold of these days, too. TH gets a hold of 5k of them a day (I base this on no actual facts). It’s almost like their beer is freaking delicious. Hmmmm.
Thing is, everyone lives near IPA factories these days, even in the most far flung corners of the country. Good IPAs too, hazy or otherwise. But yes, you're right there, TH does trade $4$ for unhyped stuff now, or often less than $4$ (on the TH side). Not DBBCBS or DL variants. Not wrong on any of those points there and I'd never argue that you were.
